Infinae Checkout Terms

By continuing with checkout, you confirm that you are authorized to purchase course access, you understand that access is controlled by backend entitlement records after confirmed payment, and you agree to these Checkout Terms.

These Checkout Terms apply to purchases of Infinae Labs course access through Infinae checkout and Stripe Checkout.

1. Related policies

These Checkout Terms apply only to purchase checkout. Use of Infinae is also governed by the Terms of Service, and Infinae’s handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.

2. Authorized purchaser

If the course access is for a student or minor account, you confirm that you are the parent or guardian, or that you are otherwise authorized to purchase course access for that student account.

3. Course access is granted after confirmed payment

A purchase does not grant course access until Stripe confirms successful payment and Infinae records the matching backend entitlement. A checkout session, checkout redirect, or receipt record alone does not grant access.

4. Product and access type

The checkout confirmation screen shows the course, selected offer, access summary, and checkout amount before redirecting to Stripe. Starter access may be limited to the first configured lessons. Complete Course Access unlocks the normal full course path.

5. Starter upgrades

If a Starter Pass is upgraded to Complete Course Access, Infinae calculates any eligible upgrade credit on the backend. Upgrade credit may depend on the course product, starter scope completion, configured credit amount, and configured credit expiration window.

6. Payment processing

Payments are processed by Stripe. Infinae does not store full card numbers. Stripe may provide its own checkout confirmation or payment record. Infinae may store checkout metadata, policy acknowledgement versions, tax snapshots, receipt records, and entitlement records for purchase history, support, accounting, dispute review, and access control. Infinae receipt records do not replace backend entitlement records as the authority for course access.

7. Duplicate, failed, or mismatched payments

If a payment appears duplicated, failed, incomplete, or mismatched, Infinae may review Stripe payment records, checkout metadata, Infinae receipt records, and backend entitlement records before correcting access or payment records.

8. Taxes

Checkout displays the course offer and backend subtotal before redirecting to Stripe. Taxes, if applicable, may be calculated and collected by Stripe Checkout based on Infinae's active tax configuration and the billing information entered during checkout. Infinae records a tax handling snapshot for the transaction. Tax snapshot records are for purchase history and review only and do not replace backend entitlement records as the authority for course access.

9. Access authority

Backend entitlement records are the authority for My Courses, launch, activation, progress, and student artifact access. Product catalog records, checkout sessions, Stripe metadata, and receipt records are not access authority.

11. Changes to these terms

Infinae may publish updated checkout terms in the future. If the terms change, checkout may require acknowledgement of the current version before a new purchase can be completed.
